The matrices multiplication need two input matrices minimum and it produce the result in one matrix. If we have to multiply two 3 x 3 matrices we have totally 18 elements(each 3 x 3 matrix have 9 elements, three elements in each row) to multiply but we have only 9 elements in the resulted matrix.
